Tire inspection and repair can become difficult when limited access, heavy lifting, and awkward working positions slow down the technician. The Branick 5550 Heavy-Duty Tire Spreader is designed with an open, ergonomic work area that provides improved access around the tire while reducing the need for stooping or manual lifting. Its auto ramp allows the tire to be rolled directly into position, while the foot-operated lift makes height adjustments easier.

The 5550 features an adjustable working height from 14" to 35.5", allowing technicians to position the tire at a comfortable level for inspection and repair. Hand-operated spreading provides direct control, while the low-profile spread arms and wide rollers provide better access and support for wider tires. An RMA-compliant LED light is included as standard to provide clear visibility during service.

Built for efficient tire repair stations, the Branick 5550 also includes an attached tool tray and four air tool ports for keeping frequently used equipment close at hand. Foot controls on both sides operate the lift, while the anti-pinch ramp linkage adds an additional safety feature during loading. Its compact 28" × 58" footprint makes the 5550 a practical choice for professional tire facilities where workspace is limited.

Forklifts and Lift Gates

All of our Single Post, 2 Post, and 4 Post Lifts* require a forklift (or similar) to unload.  Tire Changers and Balancers and other small items allow for a lift gate service (At no additional charge) Lift gate service will lower your order to street level.  How do I know if a forklift is required? See the drop down options that show when you're attempting to place an order. 

What if I don't have a forklift at my location and my order requires it?

This is a common question and here's some alternatives:

• We can deliver to a local freight terminal near you.  Typically this is within 30-60 minutes away depending on location.  We will find a location - Contact Us
• Do you have a buddy that owns a forklift and we can ship it there?  Does your place of work have a forklift?  Select this location as the delivery address. 
• Warehouse pickup - This is always an option but depends how far you're willing to drive. 
• Rent a forklift - This is the least favorable option but may be necessary.  We always schedule the delivery so this should minimize the days required to rent.

Can I hand unload my order if I don't have a forklift? 

No, sorry, the truck drivers don't allow for this.  2 things: Liabilities and the time it takes to unload - truck drivers can't wait, even if you have an army of help.

Residential Deliveries

Yes, we deliver to residential addresses!

Will the freight company contact me to schedule the delivery?

Yes, the freight company will call you ahead of time to schedule the delivery to ensure you are available to receive/unload your order. 

Warehouse Pickup (No Freight Charge)

Warehouse pickup is available for almost all of our brands.  Warehouse locations are listed on each product page.  At checkout, select "Pickup" and choose the warehouse you'd like to pickup from.  Upon ordering, we will send an email with the pickup form/number. 

Freight Terminals

If you don't have a forklift at your location, we can find you a freight terminal in your area and they will load your trailer onsite.  (Typically 30-60 minute drive away, depending on location) Special note: Some orders are so large they ship on a flatbed by themselves, in these cases a freight terminal delivery is not an option.  The product page will state whether this is the case. 

Flat Rate Shipping and Freight Quotes
