Servicing large mobile A/C systems requires equipment with enough capacity and performance to handle higher refrigerant volumes. The Robinair 34888HD Advance Heavy-Duty R-134a Recovery & Recharge Machine recovers, recycles, evacuates, leak-tests, and recharges R-134a with 98.5% efficiency for both small and large mobile A/C systems.

Standard A/C service equipment may not provide the capacity needed for larger systems commonly found in buses and other heavy-duty vehicles. The 34888HD features a removable large-capacity tank, liquid pump, and 5.0 CFM dual-stage vacuum pump to support demanding service applications. Its nitrogen port allows technicians to use nitrogen for A/C system drying and leak testing, while fully automatic operation handles recovery, evacuation, leak testing, charging, and oil drain/injection.

Built for heavy-duty mobile A/C service, the machine includes an 18 ft. hose set, 50 lb. DOT R-134a external cylinder, 300 lb. filter-drier, and 3/8 hp compressor. The graphical display provides multilingual operation, while an optional printer can capture and retain vehicle service data. The 34888HD is SAE J2788 certified and backed by a one-year warranty.

Forklifts and Lift Gates

All of our Single Post, 2 Post, and 4 Post Lifts* require a forklift (or similar) to unload.  Tire Changers and Balancers and other small items allow for a lift gate service (At no additional charge) Lift gate service will lower your order to street level.  How do I know if a forklift is required? See the drop down options that show when you're attempting to place an order. 

What if I don't have a forklift at my location and my order requires it?

This is a common question and here's some alternatives:

• We can deliver to a local freight terminal near you.  Typically this is within 30-60 minutes away depending on location.  We will find a location - Contact Us
• Do you have a buddy that owns a forklift and we can ship it there?  Does your place of work have a forklift?  Select this location as the delivery address. 
• Warehouse pickup - This is always an option but depends how far you're willing to drive. 
• Rent a forklift - This is the least favorable option but may be necessary.  We always schedule the delivery so this should minimize the days required to rent.

Can I hand unload my order if I don't have a forklift? 

No, sorry, the truck drivers don't allow for this.  2 things: Liabilities and the time it takes to unload - truck drivers can't wait, even if you have an army of help.

Residential Deliveries

Yes, we deliver to residential addresses!

Will the freight company contact me to schedule the delivery?

Yes, the freight company will call you ahead of time to schedule the delivery to ensure you are available to receive/unload your order. 

Warehouse Pickup (No Freight Charge)

Warehouse pickup is available for almost all of our brands.  Warehouse locations are listed on each product page.  At checkout, select "Pickup" and choose the warehouse you'd like to pickup from.  Upon ordering, we will send an email with the pickup form/number. 

Freight Terminals

If you don't have a forklift at your location, we can find you a freight terminal in your area and they will load your trailer onsite.  (Typically 30-60 minute drive away, depending on location) Special note: Some orders are so large they ship on a flatbed by themselves, in these cases a freight terminal delivery is not an option.  The product page will state whether this is the case.
